An exceptional artistic experience based on calligraphy.
Voyages entre les langues is an innovative urban writing project conceived by Ruedi Baur, Karelle Menine and Vera Baur, and deployed in Switzerland between 2016 and 2017. In the public spaces of several cities, calligraphic installations showcase Switzerland's multilingual literary heritage, by painting on the façades of buildings, the walls of a tunnel or public benches phrases taken from this cultural corpus rich in the movement of languages and people. Italian, French, German, Romansh, Urdu, Arabic... a host of languages are called upon for this original exercise in urban calligraphy.
