La Phrase. Un'expérience de poèsie urbaine

This is "la phrase", a mad project to revive a forgotten body of literature by placing it directly in the public space. Ten kilometres of handwritten poetry; a trail that moves forward day by day, entering prisons, inviting itself to neighbourhood aperitifs, and nourished by the words of Verlaine, Verhaeren, surrealism and current events. Many enthusiasms, criticisms and questions were raised, all of which deserve to be explored. In 2015, Mons, a small French-speaking town in the south of Belgium, named European Capital of Culture, dared to take the poets out of the books. They returned to the city where they had written, and made themselves at home.
